COVID-19 Update
You’re family, and our First Priority.
An update on our facilities, online shopping & shipping
We at Essential Bodywear are continuing to monitor the CDC and other government communications and are working to remain in compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines at our facilities in Commerce, Michigan. Our Home Office facility is closed, and our Home Office staff is currently working from home to continue to keep our business active and support our Independent Fit Stylists and their customers.
Our Distribution Portion of Essential Bodywear is open and is using the state guidelines and has basic operational function as we fall under the “Essential Basic Operations” definition, which allows our employee to continue working to help support our Home Office staff and Field working from home. We have implemented new and heightened hygiene, social distancing, and other safety and health measures such as adequate personal workspace. We are making every effort to continue regular business operations for the sake of our employees and our Field of Fit Stylists. We consider it a blessing to be able to keep people working and engaged in their business during these uncertain times.
Our website Essentialbodywear.com remains open and customers and Fit Stylists alike can continue to shop from home which has always been a benefit of our sales model. Although physical gatherings and our popular in-home Essential Bodywear parties cannot physically take place right now, many of our Fit Stylists are finding success by creating new ways to hold virtual parties and virtual fittings. Of course, individual customers can continue to shop our products for themselves or others, and by doing so, they are helping support the small businesses of our Independent Fit Stylists across America. As demand continues to be high and taxing on “big box” and online retailers who are in many cases struggling to keep up, we encourage all in the Essential Bodywear family to support local and small businesses and independent sellers who are able to remain open for business nationwide.
With our Michigan facility currently holding down the basic operations, we are still shipping within our standard shipping window. In the coming days and weeks there could be some delays to our shipping, depending on the decisions of state officials related to workplace shutdown. We will continue to update our communications as changes arise.
Safety, health, and well-being are of the utmost importance and we will continue to strive to strike the appropriate balance of all three. It is paramount to our Essential Bodywear mission that we Uplift and Support Women. It is our hope that even in these challenging times, we can all take a moment to Support what is right in the world, uplift others with positive and caring thoughts, and reward the efforts of healthcare workers, laborers, and those who support their families through small business. Thank you for being a part of our family.
